- SAMS SWIMMERS OVERALL TALLY:

- Tim Shead (1:11.13) SHATTERS his own World Record (1:14.67) in the Men 55-59 100m Breaststroke
- Edith Ottermann (26.59) cracks her own World Record (26.60) in the Women 40-44 50m Freestyle
- Tim Shead (2:24.16) SHATTERS another World Record (2:27.92) in the Men 55-59 200m IM
- Tim Shead (32.07) again SHATTERS another World Record (33.03) in the Men 55-59 50m Breaststroke
- Tim Shead (2:41.54) for his 4th SHATTERING of a World Record (2:45.87) in the Men 55-59 200m Breaststroke
- Tim Shead, who won all 5 of his permitted events, broke the World Record in 4 of them. The only one which eluded him (100m Backstroke) is held by Gary Hall who medalled in the Olympics in 1968, 1972 & 1976.
- David McLachlan (3:14.18) betters the previous World Record (3:16.06) in the Men 70-74 200m Butterfly but unfortunately was pipped at the post and came second.
- Heather Campbell (2:44.37) breaks the Meet Record (2:45.46) in the Women 50-54 200m IM
